Private House Cornwall

A contemporary private house in Cornwall built using De Lank granite for walling, paving and architectural detail. Private commissions are where the stone is often seen at its most considered, used not by the tonne for a public contract but piece by piece for the texture, colour and feel of a single home. This project shows the range of the stone in a domestic setting, from structural walling to fine paving and crafted details, all drawn from one Cornish source so the house sits naturally within its landscape. It is an example of De Lank granite chosen for character as much as for performance.
