Chelsea Barracks

Chelsea Barracks is one of the most valuable and most carefully designed residential developments in London, built on a former Army site between Belgravia and the Thames. Its architecture was conceived to sit within the classical squares around it rather than to break from them, which placed a high demand on the quality and consistency of its natural stone. De Lank granite was supplied across phases one to four of the development. In a setting where the stonework is in full public view and held to an exacting standard, the even colour and durability of a single Cornish source let the same material read consistently from building to building across the whole scheme.
