De Lank Archive
1759–present
The De Lank archive is a record of more than 260 years of quarrying, gathered across the long life of the works on Bodmin Moor. It holds photographs of the stone in landmark projects across Britain, from Victorian engineering and lettered monuments to twentieth century rebuilding and modern sculpture. Taken together these images trace not only the buildings and structures De Lank granite has gone into, but the people, tools and methods of the quarry itself across generations. They are the visual memory of one of the oldest working granite quarries in the country.
